Tubing is a pipe that is run into the CASING of an oil well during normal production. In the flowing well, oil flows into the ground through the tubing and enters the gathering and transportation process. In the mechanical production well, the combination of tubing, sucker rod and deep well pump (i.e. "three pumping" equipment) can pump oil to the ground and enter the gathering and transportation process.
The casing is the pipe that is run into the well after the drilling is completed. The casing and the well wall are sealed with cement, and then the perforating gun is used to aim at the target layer for perforating, so that the oil flows through the rock stratum, cement sheath and casing to the bottom of the well, and then enters the tubing to the surface.
